What’s the most important label in the “organic”?
It has been said that health is not just the absence of disease that is why many of us preferred organic foods. But what is most important about organic and how does organic plays a vital role in our health and in our environment?
Due to public’s higher demand for organic food in the recent years, researches had been made to really define the conclusion and to make every claim accurate that organic foods are much better than non-organic. But since it came up that few valid comparisons are considered organic food requires definitive assessment of safety, nutritional content, biological value aspects of food quality. And it resulted that organic produced food is much safer, much higher in nutritional content and nutritional value than non-organic foods.
The universe of micro-organisms contributes to the major and micro nutrients, minerals, enzymes in our food because rich foods come from healthy soil. Studies confirm that pesticide residue gives a higher risk to human health and to the environment. Synthetic pesticides, fertilizers and confined livestock operations are not permitted in organic production which means that there is a lower risk in pesticides, nutrients, manure and antibiotics affecting the soil, ground water, rivers, lakes and the atmosphere.
Also constant consumption of organic foods contributes to a successful outcome, this can lower the amount of toxic ingested, totally avoid GMO’s (genetically modified organisms), reduces amount of additives and food colorings.
